Don't Play the Blame Game

Don’t be like Aunt Mae who almost started a riot at her granddaughter's school last week. There was a race at the school and Aunt Mae's granddaughter lost. The winner was a girl everybody harass because she has big feet. Well, those big feet run fast. Aunt Mae was furious when the girl with big feet put her feet over the finish line just seconds before her granddaughter. Aunt Mae says the race was un-fair because her granddaughter was defeated, not by the speed of the winner, but by her big-feet. Aunt Mae blames the girl’s big feet for her granddaughter’s defeat.

FAITH IS TALKING GOOD

Everybody talking about faith got it. You see faith is talk. No talk, no faith. If you say you got it, you have it. And if you say you don’t have it, you don’t have it. You can’t have it, if you say you don’t have it. And if you say you have it, you have what you say. Every time you say what you say, you say what’s in your heart. And so if you talk, faith-talk, then faith is in your heart. Now, if you talk doubt and unbelief, THEN doubt and unbelief is in your heart. If you are talking doubt and unbelief: “Shut your mouth.” If you don’t shut your mouth you will have what you say. Now open your mouth and tell yourself and everybody else that God CAN DO ANYTHING but fail. Talk God- talk and you talk faith-talk. You see you can’t faith-talk without God- talk. And you can’t God- talk without faith-talk. Faith-talk is the proof that you believe God not only CAN, but will do all that you say that God will do. If you dare say it, God will prove that your hope in God to give you what you hope in your heart that God will give you is faith that gets you what you hope God will give you.Now remember the greatest faith-talk is prayer-talk. What's that you're saying, "you don't believe me." Well, talk to Mark (Mark 11:25), tell him what you don't believe.
I hear you raising the question, “What is faith?” Well, being this is Labor Day, I guess I can do a little work, and answer your question. Faith is: (1) love work; (2) abandoning sight; (3) living while dying; (4) living with dying; (5) an inheritance; (6) eating what you didn’t plant; (7) seeing light in darkness; (8) a river running in the spirit watering possibilities; (9) hope outrunning fear; (10) driving without gas; (11) turning words into gold; (12) dying when old; (13) sucking honey out of the rock of doubt; (14) a gift of the spirit; (15) standing without feet; (15) the path to salvation; (16) pleasing God; (17) the ears of God’s word; (18) holy assurance; (19) human hands at work; (20) salvation drinking grace; (21) grandmother’s gift; (22) grandfather’s speech; (23) mother’s eyes; (24) father’s ears; (25) the evidence that you trust God to bring into sight that which your heart longs for but your eyes cannot see; (26) faith is prayer; and (27) faith is earning a good report.

Philippians 3:13b

You ain't taking about nothing. I'm tired of hearing about this and that, yesterday, and last week. Listen, to me, because I want to give you the good word. Didn't the Bible tell you to to forget about what you said and did last week. I know you made a big mistake on your job, and you got a ticket for speeding in a school zone. But, go on. Forget about it. Don't sweat what happen yesterday. Forget it! So what, your wife forgot your birthday. I keep on telling you to "forget it." Listen, the prophet Isaiah had the good word from God, writing, "Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Listen, you can't remeber what happen last year, neither can you consider, saying, "what if," about what you didn't do that you thought you should have done. Don't even consider what should, or could, or would have happened if you had done this or that. No, no, forget it. Yes, you made a poor choice; yes, you got yourself in debt; yes, you act a fool. But, forget it. Refuse to remember what when down yesterday.Why? God is doing a new thing. The new thing that God is doing he is doing now. Do you not see what God is doing? Listen, you will miss this thing that God is doing in your life;in your ministry, if you are looking at yesterday. You can't see what God is doing today, if you eyes are on what you did yesterday. Now when you look backward you are look at yourself because God is not present in the past. And you know as well as I that there in no power in self. But when you look forward you are looking at God. You see humanity knows about what happened yesterday. Hey, just check out the news. But no man, or woman, can predict the future. That's why the future is of God. It's a God thing. God is a futurist God. A God who moves forward, a progressive God, demanding a progressive people. God is moving, so you've gotta move, if you want the new thing that God is doing. Can't you see it? Well, if you can't it only because your eyes have a backward look.Don't look back and miss God. Look forward! In the words of old man Paul, forget those things which are behind, and reach forth for those thing which are before ( Philippians 3:13b).Now listen, you can't reach out and touch those things that God have for you if you are looking backward. Come on, give me a forward look. I know you can. Yes, you can; yes, you can. Oh, yes you can. __________________________________________________

Jesus Give My Life Your Light


When in doubt…about what is right and what is wrong……just remember when you’re doubting that Jesus still sits upon the throne…….in the heavens….on the right side of God….the Father………..look to Jesus for the answer……never doubt his love for you…..Jesus wants to lead and guide you……and that he will do ……if in your struggle to do the right and not the wrong……you call on the name of Jesus…. .wait…but not long….for that peace…..which is beyond human understanding….comes……calming your mind…..bringing clarity to your thoughts……light out of the darkness of confusion……so know that regardless of what may come……your life will always have purpose and praise…….if only you remember to say……Jesus…..the way…the truth….and the light…….shine on my path……..give my life your light……

Set Your Marriage On Fire

MARRIAGE

For no man ever yet hated his own flesh: but nourish and cherish it, even as the Lord the Church (Ephesians 5:29).


If a marriage is to succeed…..it must be ordained by God from heaven…..otherwise it is just a rumor of one’s imagination of what it is suppose to be……true dedication in a marriage is determined by one’s ability to be in connection with God and not with evil….for God is love…and only through him…and the knowledge of him can one really know and understand what love is….God is love…his love will allow a wife to submit to her husband…it will cause the husband to love his wife as himself….because marriage makes two as one…he who loves not his wife…loves not himself…the love of God in each partner will project the amount of love given…God’s love for the world allowed him to give his only Son…that same love allowed The Son to give his life…it is that love which requires husbands to love their wives as Christ loved the church…if Jesus gave up his life for the church…the husband must also be willing….if necessary…to give up his life for his wife…this truly is the love of God…and only in it can two become as one…..
